Review 2004: Investing in Young Scientists

The Syngenta Foundationand the International Foundation for Science (IFS) will begin a $100,000 grant program to strengthen multi-disciplinary scientific research in sustainable agriculture in Mali. According to Oumar Niangado, Syngenta Foundationdelegate to West Africa, a total of eight grants are to be funded in 2005 to to support the work of young scientists, including social scientists.
