A critical part of the Foundation's activity rests in stakeholder engagement outside our projects. Through hosting symposia, lectures, publications and meetings; the Foundation actively participates in dialogue with organizations and individuals keenly interested in issues of sustainable agriculture in the developing world.


Events Lectures Grants
The Syngenta Foundation gives broad public platform for topics critical to rural livelihood improvements through symposia offering a range of perspective and engaged public discussion.
Each year, Syngenta Foundation invites internationally
recognized experts to Basel, Switzerland for guest lectures on subjects related to its mission.
SFSA supports research and breeding programmes in locally important crops such as millet, sorghum and tef. The goal is to develop higher yielding varieties with enhanced resistance to pests and diseases.
Speeches Multimedia
The Syngenta Foundation invites internationally recognized experts to Syngenta corporate headquarters in Switzerland for an open exchange of ideas related to the rural livelihood in the developing world.
The Foundation actively participates in dialogue with organizations and individuals keenly interested in issues of sustainable agriculture in the developing world.
