'Women in Scientific Careers: Unleashing the Potential.’ This Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) publication assesses the underlying causes behind the low participation of women in scientific careers, especially at senior levels, and identifies good practice policies to attract, recruit and retain women in scientific careers in public and private research.


Fellowships for East African Women Scientists. This innovative program is designed to support professional growth in both scientific expertise and people management, facilitating the development of female science leaders and strengthening their institutions.


Gender Indicators in Science, Engineering and Technology provides a better understanding of the numbers and needs at stake in these fields, including quantitative and qualitative indicators for the participation of women and under-represented groups, especially in developing countries.


The World Bank has mobilized a fund for projects that sequester or conserve carbon in forest and agro-ecosystems. The Fund, a public/private initiative administered by the World Bank, aims to deliver cost effective emission reductions while promoting biodiversity conservation and poverty alleviation.
